“SCHNIFFELLS”®

Price & How to Buy

£12.50 a bottle

What are you actually getting for your money?

Schniffells is a small-batch botanical cordial infusion, made on Exmoor from real ingredients and brewed slowly, rather than simply blended from flavourings and extracts.

A 330ml bottle has a recommended retail price of £12.50. That’s around 13 × 25ml servings, or roughly 96p a serving.

We think that’s pretty good value.

What exactly is in Schniffells?

Nothing mysterious.

Fresh ginger, fresh turmeric, rosemary, cinnamon, cayenne chilli, black peppercorns, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, Exmoor honey and water.

  • No artificial flavours
  • No artificial colours
  • No preservatives

We don’t build the flavour from a collection of botanical flavourings and extracts. We brew the actual botanicals themselves, slowly and in small batches.

Fresh ginger means ginger. Fresh turmeric means turmeric. Rosemary means rosemary.

The flavour in the bottle comes from the ingredients we put into the brew. It’s a considerably more hands-on way of making a drink, but that’s rather fundamental to what Schniffells is.

One bottle. Thirteen servings.

Schniffells is a concentrate, not a 330ml ready-to-drink soft drink. One bottle pours around thirteen 25ml servings, roughly 96p each.

How does £12.50 compare?

Actually, rather well. Compared volume-for-volume with several leading premium botanical alternatives, Schniffells is around 30% less expensive.

Schniffells, 330ml£3.79 /100ml
Comparable premium botanical drinks, 500ml£5.20–5.60 /100ml

Based on typical shelf prices of £26–£28 for a 500ml bottle. And remember, Schniffells is a concentrate, so a bottle goes considerably further.

How can I drink it?

That’s entirely up to you. One bottle. Plenty of possibilities.

Where can I buy Schniffells?

The best place to buy Schniffells is from one of our independent stockists.

Schniffells started here on Exmoor, and supporting the independent shops, cafés and delis that have supported us is important to us. So if there’s a Schniffells stockist near you, we’d genuinely rather you bought it from them.

Find a Stockist

What if there isn’t a stockist near me?

That’s exactly why we created the Schniffells Exmoor Export Club. Schniffells isn’t produced for warehouses or permanent online inventory. We make it in small batches, and most of what we produce goes directly to our independent stockists.

When a batch is ready, you can order a Discovery Box (2 bottles) or an Export Box (6 bottles) directly from this page, packed by hand and posted anywhere in the UK, free.

Why doesn't it arrive in a fancy branded box?

Because we’d rather spend the money on what’s inside the bottle. We don’t buy expensive printed boxes, tissue paper or elaborate branded packaging just to create an impressive unboxing experience.

Wherever we can, the cardboard boxes and protective packaging we use are reused or reusable, so don’t be surprised if your Schniffells arrives in a perfectly good box that’s already had another life. And if you can give the packaging another life afterwards, even better.

It might not make for the world’s most glamorous unboxing video. But that’s rather the point.

The rest of the questions

Can I buy direct online?

Yes, you can request a Discovery Box (2 × 330ml, £25 delivered) or an Export Box (6 × 330ml, £67.50 delivered, introductory offer ends 31/10/26, then £75) directly from the Export Club page. Pete will confirm availability and send a Square invoice. Once paid, he packs and posts your order.

Do you really not charge extra for delivery?

No. Postage and packing are included in both box prices. The Discovery Box is at the standard single-bottle price; the Export Box is an introductory £67.50 until 31/10/26, then £75.

Why do you offer two box sizes?

The Discovery Box is for people who want to try Schniffells before committing to six bottles, or for gifting and topping up. The Export Box is the better value option for those who already know they love it.

Why call it the Export Club?

Because Schniffells is made on Exmoor, and anything heading beyond our little corner of it feels rather like an export to us. No subscription and no complicated membership, just first word when the next release is ready. Cases are posted within the UK.

How is it sent, and how long does it take?

Royal Mail Tracked 48, packed by hand. You’ll get an email when a batch is released and the case goes out once your order is in.

How should I store it?

Every bottle has at least two months of shelf life from delivery. Keep it in a cool dark place until you open it, then refrigerate and use within 28 days. It's best served cold straight from the fridge, because the chill adds something.

Is it suitable for vegans?

No. Schniffells contains Exmoor honey, so it isn't vegan. It contains no alcohol, no artificial flavours, no artificial colours and no preservatives.

Real botanicals. Small batches. Made on Exmoor.
